Alejandro joins Desert Palm Equestrian Centre with extensive international experience as both a rider and an instructor. Alejandro is results driven with a passion for seeing his students succeed in any of the 3 Olympic disciplines. Alejandro is available for teaching on either school horses or riders’ own horse’s.
Ben Franklin

Bio:
Ben is a competitive British Dressage rider and trainer, who specialises in the production of young horses. Trained regularly by both Carl Hester and Andreas Hausberger, he has enjoyed success both regionally and nationally. He works with young horses all the way through to Grand Prix, as well as horses in other disciplines. Ben has a passion for sharing his knowledge and is keen to help horses and riders develop properly and achieve their goals. His training methods are sympathetic and methodical. Lessons aim to keep horse and rider both physically and mentally stimulated.
Ben Desage

Bio:
Ben is an international Show jumping rider and instructor certified by the French Equestrian Federation. Ben Started riding at the age of at 4 years old and has enjoyed a successful competitive showjumping career, as well as having worked for several French international riders and members of the French national team . Ben also benefits from having owned and managed his own stable, as well as having managed stables on behalf of others. Ben is passionate about developing riders through the ranks of showjumping and provides a comprehensive coaching experience and competition management program on behalf of his clients.
Charlotte Drakeley

Bio:
Charlotte is a UK based Prix st George Premier League dressage rider, BD training Judge & International trainer. Charlotte has trained with Carl Hester and Ireland’s Olympic hope Abi Lyle. Charlotte is also an international coach having trained combinations to compete successfully for Great Britain at multiple international events. Charlotte works with all levels of horse and rider and enjoys helping build and develop confidence and progression targets for a fun training experience. Charlotte is available for regular clinics in Dubai, as well as online training and tailored training plans for when she is in the UK.

Bio:
Faith has had a successful career history in Hunter / jumper, equitation and foxhunting in the US. Faith has a strong background in founding and administrating horse shows and affiliate programs bringing equestrian team sports to schools. Faith Customises lessons and training programs with an emphasis on balance seat riding, hunt seat equitation and a strong focus on horsemanship. Faith has a lifetime of equestrian experience and over 25 years teaching experience.
Fiona Brown

Bio:
Fiona has been involved with horses her whole life and has been teaching horse riding for over 25 years. Fiona is originally from Scotland where she competed regularly in 1 and 3 day eventing and Show jumping. Fiona has a variety of coaching experience from teaching children in schools to facilitating adults on vocational courses.
Jo Clare

Bio:
Jo is a Certified Equestrian Coach, experienced in Dressage, Showjumping and Cross country. Jo had a successful international competition career n the UK and Europe for over 20 years and now enjoys training riders of all levels as well as retraining thoroughbred racehorses enabling them to go into new careers. Jo is passionate about horse welfare and building trust between horse and rider.
Katinka Thorburn

Katinka is a competitive rider in the core equestrian disciplines of Dressage Showjumping and Eventing. Katinka is a highly qualified BHS professional and has been riding for over 40 years. Katinka has enjoyed a extensive international equestrian career including positions in Asia. Katinka is a passionate and dedicated instructor with over 15 years experience of teaching a wide variety of riders, from children all the way to advanced competition riders.
Mohamed Al Serkal

Bio:
Mohamed is based between the UAE and The Netherlands, where he represents the UAE in dressage competitions all over Europe, riding at Small Tour Level (Prix St George andIntermediate 1) levels. Mohamed is currently based with Dutch Grand Prix rider Dominique Filion in preparation for Mohamed’s participation in the Asian games, which will be held in China later this year. Mohamed is available for regular clinics at Desert Palm during his trips to the UAE.
Mohammed is passionate about the sport of dressage, as well as inspiring the youth of the UAE and educating equestrians and athletes.
Nadiia Malykhina

Bio:
Nadia is a competitive rider in national Competitions in all 3 disciplines (Dressage, showjumping and eventing) and was placed 2nd place in the FEI world Dressage Challenge. Nadiia’s working experience includes working as assistant rider for Olympian Eventing rider as well as breaking and schooling young horses, horses with behavioral problems and preparing horses and riders for competitions.
Sandrine Murray

Sandrine combines her experience in hospitality and work with children, with her riding and coaching experience and qualification, to bring a tailored approach to her teaching style. Sandrine has worked with nervous riders and children all the way to ambitious teenagers and competitive riders and treats every rider as an individual, focusing on their goals and aspirations in their equestrian journey.

Jenne Forde is British Horse Society, International Accredited Professional Coach and passionate eventing rider and instructor. Jenne has ridden at a National level in Dressage, although her real passion lies with eventing, where she has been the UAE National Eventing Champion twice. As a coach, Jenne believes that the education of riders and handlers is paramount. Jenne bases her philosophy as a coach around the 3 Ps, as she likes to say.
